The starting point has always to be the scripture which we referred to.

Once I heard a wise protestant minister say that in the morning he sits with his cup of coffee, and in one hand he has the Bible and in the other, the newspaper.

There is a ton of information out there. There are many voices and many opinions. We need to get the facts and let God’s word speak about them.

When we talk about the Catholic Church, we need to keep in mind that the Church is made up of both the leaders and the laity. You and me and the rest of us are part of the Church, we are the Body of Christ. Our Church leaders do whatever they have to do. We, the People of God, we have our own part to play. We can and should initiate the discussion about these matters in the Name of Jesus Christ. It is we, the Body of Christ, we who have to stand against evil. We have the Holy Spirit within each and every one of us. That same Spirit that brought order over the chaos in Genesis.

The scripture says that there is nothing new under the sun. Throughout the centuries many great saints, mystics and doctors of the Church had their doubters. Even Jesus Himself had His own doubters. People like St Theresa of Avila, St. Theresa of Lisieux, St. Bernadette, St. Padre Pio in our own time.

It is part of our sinful nature that we don’t see things the way God sees it.

The seers of Medjugorje have been studied by psychologist, psychiatrist and a host of other scientists more than anyone else in the history of humanity. They have been tested under controlled laboratories. Please refer yourself to “Nine Years of Apparitions toward the Revelation of the Secrets” by Father Rene Laurentin, the foremost Marian authority presently living.

In the final analysis, it is the Church who has the authority to decide the authenticity of the apparition. Holy Mother Church has not condemned it. The case is still under investigation. Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus. He will lead us to the right direction.

I will say that the person who sent this video to me had visited Medjugorge on numerous occasions and was very much in favor of it but was very dismayed when he saw this video and this was why he passed it along to me.

Those who have studied mystics and visionaries enough know that during a true vision or ecstasy a mystic/visionary will be completely insensible to external stimuli of any sort—needles, flames etc…and certainly not a wave of the hand. Mystics have been tested in this way for centuries, because it is a strightforward test to determine the authenticity of the alleged ecstatic/visionary phenomenon.

Anyway, I won’t comment any further—I let you draw your own conclusions.

I will say that Vicka’s phony explanation afterwards makes matters much worse, as it is obviously an attempt to ‘cover up”.

Look at the people behind Mirjana. Look where their eyes are going, where their cameras are pointing. A major sun miracle was taking place, being witnessed by, as I recall, thousands on that day, all together. You can see by watching the people what no camera so far has been able to record: the sun miracle.

I say that despite all the videos and pictures of the sun miracle, because cameras reportedly don’t technologically respond well to being pointed directly at the sun, and much of what they record is said to be technological responses to it, even though what the people were seeing was the real miracle. I only know this because camera experts have analyzed the sun photos and explained them in that way.

But this, looking at all these people and their obvious experience of the sun miracle, cannot be explained away. God bless you.

We cannot give medical advice, even if they relate to moral concerns. The purpose of this article is to raise awareness of a subject not talked about by Christians. And hopefully to motivate dialogue and debate.

Let me share this with you. A few years ago I needed to have a bone transplant in my jaw. Cow bone was used and this saved my tooth. But I am still a human being. Presently my DNA is human. In the case of the goat and spider, they took the goat’s DNA and the spider’s DNA and created something totally new. A new creature that does not exist in nature (although it visibly looks like a goat) but its DNA is something so new that it is patented.

Another case, there are a number of foods we eat that are Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO). Interestingly enough, there has never been any study on the impact of GMO foods in the short and long term over generations. This is not just a health or science issue. It is a basic fundamental human right to know what we put into our body and its implication. As Christians, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. If I don’t know the genetic repercussion of absorbing GMO foods, am I entering into a forbidden territory or not?

Does eating GMO foods modify my DNA structure over to the point of no longer being what God has created? GMO food is the blending and modification of the genetic structure of food, am I violating the wall of separation of species imposed by God?

The theological and moral issues of genetic modification are not address by Christians nor by the Church. We need to ask the question, by entering into the domain of genetic modification are we wondering away from God’s will and intent?

Find a quiet place, close your eyes, think about the situation in question, visualize it. Imagination is a gift from God. Invite Jesus to come into that situation.

For example, words that have hurt someone? Allow Jesus to take those hurts, He wants too, and in exchange for those hurts that He takes upon Himself, ask Jesus to pour His love upon yourself or the people who have been hurt. Let Him heal those hurts and bring wholeness.
